Welcome Week Is One of GCU’s Biggest Events of the Year
Welcome Week is a week-long series of events designed to kick off the academic year at Grand Canyon University for new and returning students. Taking place on campus before the start of classes, this experience is all about beginning a new journey, getting familiar with our beautiful campus, meeting new friends and learning what it truly means to be a GCU Lope.
Throughout the week, students are encouraged to participate in a variety of fun events, activities and required tasks that can help them prepare for the year ahead. We don’t want you to miss any of the excitement, so be sure to explore everything Welcome Week has to offer.
We look forward to welcoming all new and returning students to GCU and officially launching the 2026–27 academic year — Lope style.
