GCU Virtual League of Legends Tournament

Do you have what it takes? GCU invites all high school gamers to put their skills to the test and compete in our Virtual League of Legends Tournament. Teams of five will have the opportunity to compete in a bracket-style tournament from home, but each team member must register to participate. Select ONE of the first four dates below to play on for a chance to make it to the championship round on April 10!

Event Dates:

Saturday, March 13 – League of Legends

Saturday, March 20 – League of Legends

Saturday, March 27 – League of Legends

Saturday, April 3 – League of Legends

Saturday, April 10 – Championship

Registration is FREE and closes at noon on the Friday before each event date. Registrations submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Winners will receive a certificate and GCU swag, while eligible seniors in high school may receive up to a $250 scholarship to attend GCU next fall.*

Club sports are not regulated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and do not have varsity status at the intercollegiate athletic level. However, club sports are organized and administered by their respective national sport governing body.

*Scholarships may be awarded based on 6th semester transcripts. At the time in which final official transcripts are received, GCU may adjust the scholarship up if it is determined that student is eligible for a higher award. To be eligible, students must meet scholarship requirements. GCU reserves the right to decline scholarship awards for any reason. If a student does not meet the minimum renewal criteria, their scholarship will be forfeited. GCU reserves the right to change scholarship awards at any time without notice.
