Fine Tune Your Skills Before Auditions!

Grand Canyon University’s College of Fine Arts and Production is offering a free audition workshop for students auditioning for the AMEA High School All-Regional Honor Band! The workshop familiarizes students with the process of auditioning and provides learning opportunities through mock auditions, audition feedback, an overview of common mistakes and a master class led by the GCU applied music faculty. Once auditions are finished, students can take a campus tour!

The GCU applied music faculty includes:

  • Dr. Jenna Daum – Flute
  • Dr. Rachel Messing – Oboe
  • Tim Haas – Clarinet
  • Dr. Scott Zimmer – Saxophone
  • Dr. Kristilyn Woods – Bassoon
  • Dave Bacon – Trumpet

  • Kevin Bock – Euphonium and Tuba
